Chantell became an event coordinator when she realised that her flair for originality and creativity were always in demand.
"I was a member of the Crescent Theatre in Birmingham for five years where I assisted directors and companies in the art of theatre design. This involved dressing the stage and coordinating with lighting and sound technicians to bring together a specific vision for a director or company. It was during this time I learnt to multi-task with attention to accuracy and detail."

Chantell is part of a large mixed heritage family, comprising of Irish, English and Jamaican cultures, and including many children, of which she is the eldest.
"I have always felt privileged to be part of a large and diverse family because it gives me a greater understanding of custom and tradition and how they can be woven together to create something completely unique and therefore memorable."

Being a part of a large family and the theatre community Chantell has organised many events and after completing her degree in theatre studies and diploma in event management she decided to launch C.quinn Events so she could use her enthusiasm and creativity to help others who may need some inspiration to make their event truly remarkable.

Based in the small market town of Ulverston, Cumbria, Chantell draws inspiration from her surroundings.

Events and the Lake District

C.quinn Events is based in Ulverston, Cumbria, a small market town in the South Lakes just 10 miles from the shores of Windermere. It is situated between the Fells of the Lake District and the waters of Morecambe Bay which provides the town with some breath taking scenery and some truly amazing locations to host events.

With its cobbled streets, old style pubs and huge selection of independent specialist shops, Ulverston and the surrounding towns of the Lake District are perfect for a memorable day.

Ulverston is the birthplace of comedian Stan Laurel, Windermere the home of Beatrix Potter and all that's in between the inspiration for poets such as William Wordsworth. Along Lake Windermere the 19th century grand mansions are now hotels and with the lake and hills as a backdrop, they provide some of the most exquisite venues no matter the season.
